Telugu Desam Party politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Wednesday took serious note on the Chief Minister N KIran Kumar Reddy and his Cabinet Ministers for visiting New Delhi when the farmers in the State were facing multiple problems due to non-availability of subsidised seeds and fertilizers.

In a statement released to media, he said that Kiran Kumar Reddy and other ministers have visited the New Delhi and 10 Janpath to appease the Congress High Command in order to protect their ministerial berths.

After drubbing of Congress party in the recent by-elections, he said that a section of leaders stooped to low levels and appeasing their high command to change the Chief Minister and Pradesh Congress Committee chief from their posts in order to protect the party from the further damage in 2014 general elections.

Stating that the Chief Minister and ministers should visit the national capital only to get clearances of projects and other important issues, he said that the ministers have been making trips to New Delhi to protect their posts.

He predicted that Congress party would lose deposits in the ensuing general elections in 2014.

The TDP leader demanded that the government focus its attention towards addressing people’s and farmers problems at least now.
