Media is abuzz with the speculations about CM Kiran Kumar Reddy resignation. A section of media reports that he is planning to resign if the party decides to divide the state. Media quoting his brief meeting with Seemandhra leaders camping at New Delhi and his subsequent meeting with party president Sonia Gandhi within a short duration of half an hour, speculates that he has conveyed theSeemandhra leaders decision to resign and he too may be obliged to follow them to safeguard his political interests.

However, Minister Pithani Satyanarayana has expressed anguish on the media for cooking baseless stories against Kiran Kumar Reddy. He said CM is not a coward to step down at the time of crisis. He has proved himself as an able administrator and will stand by the party at its needy hours.”

Minister DK Aruna speaking to the media said she did not heard about Kiran Kumar Reddy’s resignation. She ruled out the reports mere rumors. She expressed confidence that the party will take a favorable decision on Telangana issue.
