Hardly hours ahead of the core committee meeting, union home minister  Sushil Kumar Shinde reiterates that a decision on Telangana can not be taken over night as it is a very complicated issue. He said the negotiations are going on and it may continue further till an amicable solution is found. He said being the member of the core committee he can’t give any assurances on bifurcation as the matter is in party high command’s hands. He said core committee will discuss the matter and nay decide what to do about the burning issue.

His statement just ahead of the meeting gives an impression that Congress not yet made-up its mind on the issue. However, Congress has to come-up with a proposal or else it will tarnish its already damaged reputation in the state.
