YSR Congress honorary president Y.S. Vijayalakshmi on Monday says that her son is a saint and that he never watched blue films in jail as charged by political rivals and a section of the media.

Condemning them for indulging in character assassination of her son Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy she denied allegations that her son was watching blue films and taking drugs in jail and leading a luxurious life against rules.
Vijayalakshmi regretted that some political parties were spreading rumours against late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and even targeting her daughter Sharmila and daughter-in-law Bharati.

Political parties even commenting on her ‘Bindi’ and defended her son Jagan Mohan Reddy by saying that he had no such bad habits as they inculcated ethics and values in their children and scarifying their lives for the people. Jagan is sharing toilet with two other prisoners and surviving on an uncomfortable cot, table and fan.

She said even family met him only during regular mulakats and were watched by special CC cameras even when he met leaders and family in jail.
