Hyderabad : TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao gave a call for observing Telangana bandh on Saturday, protesting against government’s repression.

In a statement, KCR who was not seen anywhere in the ‘Chalo Assembly’, strongly condemned the arrest of Telangana activists. He said the arrest of the Telangana Political JAC chief Kodandaram, other leaders, TRS MLAs and workers was undemocratic and demanded their immediate release.

While all the TRS, CPI and BJP MLAs and even his own party MP Vijaya Santi actively participated in the programme and courted arrests, KCR’s whereabouts were not known. He just gave a statement after everything was over.
