Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan on Saturday accepted the resignation of Minister for Animal Welfare and Husbandry P Vishwaroop forwarded by Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Viswaroop quit the cabinet on Thursday protesting against state bifurcation.
He met Governor E S L Narasimhan in the Raj Bhavan in on Thursday afternoon and handed over his resignation, ignoring Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s advise not to quit.
