Hyderabad : Congress senior leader and former minister is fond of making wild charges against others. He even charged the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and his brothers of smuggling red sanders and threatened to file a suit against him.

After the Green Fields land scam in which he was arrested, Sankar is now facing a problem from his own household.

Sankar’s daughter-in-law Vishnu Priya filed a petition in the high court, charging him of harassing her. She said though she had complained to the CCS police, they had not taken any action and urged the court to direct the police to arrest him. It is being said that if the court considers this to be a case of domestic violence, Sankar would be arrested. It may be recalled that when the police tried to arrest him in the Green Field scam, he complained of heart problem and had to be rushed from police station to hospital. Later the court gave him anticipatory bail and asked him to surrender before the police. Through this process, the former minister managed to remain outside. But in cases of domestic violence, he would not be shown such considerations, say legal sources.
