CM acting under guidelines of Congress High Command?

Published on Aug 30 2013 // Featured, Political News
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who has restricted himself to his camp office ever since the CWC decided to divide Andhra Pradesh, makes a rare public appearance to send an indirect warning to the Congress High Command.
On Thursday too, the CM said: “There have been many instances in the past both in the state as well as at the centre, when governments and parties were sent home by people for not taking correct decisions.”
Political observers feel that Kiran has decided to give up his CM chair and that he’s making it clear to the Congress High command that he was not willing to be a part of the Telangana process.
The rumour of CM defying the Congress High Command and resigning has been there for quite some time now. However, now the speculation doing the rounds among Congress leaders is that CM is acting under the guidance of Congress High Command.
With the Centre deciding to go ahead with its decision of AP bifurcation, it has projecting CM as a staunch supporter of Samaikyandhra in the Seemandhra regions.
It wouldn’t be surprising if the High Command asks the CM to resign in support of Samaikynahdra movement.
The Centre knows that the Congress party is stable in Telangana. Thus now,  it’s projecting CM as anti- Telangana to strengthen its hold in the Seemandhra region.
However, the fact is that CM will gain strength only if he successfully manages to stall the Telangana process. The truth is the process to divide the state is very much on. So the chances of Kiran gaining political mileage are very slim, feel political analysts.
Observers feel these are Congress’ tactics to outdo YSRCP’s growing popularity in the Seemandhra region.
