Chiranjeevi son-in-law wants social justice
Hyderabad : Union minister Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Sirish Bharadwaj who was recently appointed publicity incharge of the state BJP said he would fight for social justice.
Talking to a TV channel after he was appointed for the post, he said anyone could come up in BJP through hard work. He said BJP would never be subservient to any one, however powerful.
It is interesting to note Sirish talking about social justice, as it was the slogan of Chiranjeevi when he launched the PRP.
Charging the state government of being totally corrupt, Sirish said the corrupt practices of one minister or the other were coming out every day. He claimed that BJP was the only party that could dethrone the Congress government. He expressed confidence that BJP would storm into power in 2014 under the leadership of the Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that everyone in the country wants Narendra Modi to be the Prime Minister, cutting across party affiliations. When asked if he would contest in the next elections, he said he was ready if the party directs.
It may be mentioned here that Sirish recently met Narendra Modi.
Sirish married Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Srija. The two later developed differences and applied for divorce. Sirish joined BJP about five months ago. After he met Narendra Modi, state BJP appointed him as media and publicity incharge.
