Producer Dil Raju has clarified to the speculations in the media that his forthcoming production venture Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu starring Venkatesh and Mahesh in the lead roles is not the remake of Hindi film Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham.

Since the lead stars Venky and Mahesh are playing brothers and the film is all about family relationships and their love, the rumors are at rife that SVSC is the freemake of K3G. But Dil Raju rubbished off these rumors and informed it’s a straight film.

Srikanth Addala directed SVSC casts Samantha and Anjali as the leading ladies. Though Trisha and Anushka were earlier considered for Venkatesh love interest, the actresses were not happy playing Mahesh’s sister-in-law(vadina) and so Anjali made her entry into the cast.
