Anjali absent to court: Arrest likely
The heroine should have appeared before the Saidapet court on Wednesday. As she had not, the court adjourned further hearing of the case to June 19.
Earlier when Anjali absented, the court gave her one more opportunity and directed that she should invariably appear on June 5. The court has also warned that she would be issued an arrest warrant if she did not. Still Anjali has not appeared even on Wednesday. The court is likely to issue an arrest warrant.
It may be recalled that before her disappearance, Anjali made allegations against her aunt Bharati Devi and Tamil director Kulanjiyam. She said the two were using her as an ATM and misusing her hard earned money for their luxuries. Taking serious exception to the charge, Kulanjiyam filed the defamation case. He also filed another case of cheating against her, charging her of not attending the shooting of her film, after taking advance.
