After months long legal battle over the remake and intellectual rights, finally when Ram Charan Tej’s debut Hindi film ‘Zanjeer’ cleared for the release by the courts, the much awaited 2.51 minutes trailer hits the small screens recently, only to disappointment the Mega fans. The first reason is it has more footage of his co-star Sunil Dutt than Ram Charan Tej. The producers might have thought that, it would be wise to project a familiar face like Sunil Dutt in the trailer than debutant Ram Charan, to attract the Hindi audiences to theaters. They might be right with their decision, but it disappoints the mega fans in the state.

The other reason is that Ram Charan did not lend his voice for dubbing of his character as he is not so fluent in Hindi. Though he is justified, the wide publicity about Ram Charan dubbing his character in Hindi makes his fans anxiously wait for the trailer. As a result, there was disappointment for them when they hear him through some one else’s voice. Bollywood film critics opine that it may turn a drawback for the film because normally Hindi audiences dislike some else lending the voice for the main star cast. However, this thumb rule can not be applied Ram Charan Tej as this is his first film.

However, the trailer comes as a big relief to mega fans as it confirms the release date of Telugu version-‘Thoofan’ to September 6th. Bollywood hot beauty Priyanka Chopra pairs with Ram Charan in this movie. Sri Hari, Prakash Raj are the other stars from Tollywood, who have played key roles in this movie. Apoorva Lakhia has directed this movie. It is produced by Amit Mehra, but now taken over by his brothers Punit Mehra and Sumit Mehra. They are releasing the movie under their family banner Prakash Mehra Productions.
