The arguments over Telugu film Denikaina Ready continues with the hero Manchu Vishnu filing a petition against Brahmin associations in a court in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Vishnu, filed a petition seeking action against the associations, which had allegedly performed ‘last rites’ to him and his father. The associations’ act had hurt their and fans’ sentiments badly, Vishnu told the court. He deposed before the Third Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate and said the film was released after securing certification from the Censor Board. The film had won appreciation of all sections of film goers and was running successfully. But, a few Brahmin associations had raked up controversy stating that a few scenes in the film were hurting their sentiments, the actor explained.
The judge postponed the case to December 7.
