Anushka  historical 3D movie Rudramadevi shooting is progressing with brisk pace in Gunashekar direction. Art director Thota Tarani has erected a huge temple set in a spacious 7 acres of land in Annapoorna Studios for the second schedule of the film. 1000 junior artists will participate in the shooting of this schedule. Some crucial scenes and few songs of the film will be shot during this schedule. Anushka is enacting as Rudramadevi in this movie. Daggubati Rana is acting as Chalukya Veerabhadrudu, the prince of Nidavardhyapuram (Present Nidadavole).  This film is produced by the director Gunashekar himself under his Gunaa Team works banner. Music maestro Ilayaraja is giving music to this film.
