Gita Reddy Summoned To Court
Gita Reddy was issued summons on Thursday by CBI Special Courts to appear before the Court on November 15 in the case of Lepakshi Knowledge Hub. Gita Reddy, Minister for Major Industries was summoned on the charges on irregularities in the allotment of 8848 acres of land to LKH in Ananthapur district.
Three IAS Officers and 10 others are also summoned to appear before the Court. But the Court did not cognizance of charges made in case of the three IAS officers B.P.Acharya, B.Sam Bob and M.Samuel for want of permission from the Government.
Name of the former Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao is also included in the 10 that were summoned.
Others summoned on charges of quid pro quo investments case are YS Jaganmohan Reddy, V.Vijaya Sai Reddy, Indu Group Chairman I.Shyam Prasad Reddy, Indu Projects Ltd., Lepakshi Knowledge Hub and MD of LKH Srinivasa Balaji.
The CBI Special Courts have taken cognizance of charges under Prevention of Corruption Act in the case of Gita Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao.
