Curfew Relaxed For 2 Hours At Vizianagaram
The curfew imposed in Vizianagaram for the first time reached fourth day today. The authorities closely observing the situation increased the relaxation to two hours today between 7.00 and 9.00 am.
The residents are queuing up at the shops to buy the daily needs. Police put up barricades so that the shopping will go on smoothly and will be over in the stipulated time. Yesterday only one hour relaxation was given which proved to be very short and also commuters thronging at a time also made it delayed. Because of the experience not only the relaxation time is increased but also proper arrangements are made to avoid stampede at the market center.
Longer queues can be seen at petrol bunks and at the vegetable market. As the general complaint came yesterday that the prices charged were exorbitant, the authorities took proper care today so that no undue advantage is taken by any trader.
