Solution to bifurcation may come from Vijayawada
Samaikyandhra protests have crossed the 50 day mark and still going strong. Even as politicians at the center strategically plan their next move, driven ambitiously, those fighting for a United Andhra are also making preparations to enter the game and play it their way.
Until now, any party looking to win the next general elections have sent feelers to AP that they support a bifurcation and the formation of a separate Telangana. This support has been found to be driven with an expectation of several MP seats in Telangana, which T-leaders have promised.
Playing them at their own game are Seemandhra leaders, who will reportedly offer more seats if the powers that be leave Andhra Pradesh intact. Intense agitations have already made the high command take a step back and wait for the Antony Committee to present its opinion.
News from Vijayawada is, however, expected to make them take another step backward and re-think their ambitious decision. Apparently, leaders of Samaikya rashtra Parirakshna Vedika are coming up with a ‘Choose13 or 25′ slogan to make the parties realize an alternative.
