Hyderabad : Minister C Rama Chandraiah, a former PRP man and a close associate of the union minister Chiranjeevi resigned to his post on Tuesday. Ramachandraiah faxed his resignation to the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

With this, the number of Seemandhra ministers who quit the cabinet shot up to 13.

It may be recalled that minister Gnanta Srinivasa Rao, another former PRP leader and close follower of Chiranjeevi had already resigned.
