Jagan suspends Konda’s supporters

Warangal : The disciplinary committee of the YSR Congress party suspended four supporters  of Konda Surekha and her husband Murali for locking up the party office in Warangal recently.

With this turn, the rift between the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and the Konda couple is complete, say political observers.

It may be recalled that Konda’s followers had locked up the party office in Warangal, protesting against importance being given to new entrants like TV anchor Rani Rudrama Devi and others, ignoring them. Reports have been doing the rounds that the Konda couple was thinking of going back to Congress. In this backdrop, Jagan was reportedly angry with the couple and instructed the party leaders to suspend Konda’s followers so that they would be forced to take a decision on whether or not to remain in the party.
