Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and his financial advisor V. Vijay Sai Reddy have said the CBI was filing one charge-sheet after another in the case with an intention only to keep his client Jagan in jail as long as possible.

They told the special court here that CBI was violating Article 141 of the Constitution that the agency was trying to make believe the court as if there were different conspiracies through different charge-sheets.

The conspiracy as made out by the probe agency was single and that was of quid pro quo investments, they said adding that the CBI was taking people and the courts for a long ride.
