Published on Jan 23 2013 // Political News

Political situation in the capital is turning hotter by the day, as leaders of both Seemandhra and Telangana descended and started lobbying for their own causes.

Even as reports are doing the rounds that the Centre would take a decision on the Telangana issue in the next few days, the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was summoned to the capital. It is learnt that the Congress High Command asked Kiran to make himself available in the capital for two days. Reports say that the Chief Minister is likely to participate in the core committee meeting of the Congress to be held on Friday. The Chief Minister’s visit attained significance as the union home ministry had recently called the Chief Secretary Minnie Mathew and the DGP Dinesh Reddy to Delhi for discussions. Shortly after the discussions, central forces were sent to AP giving rise to speculations that some urgent situation is developing.
