The demand to bring Lokesh Naidu, son of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu into politics seems to be growing within the party.

The youth wing of TDP Telugu Yuvatha leaders urged the party President N Chandrababu Naidu to hand over the cudgels of party youth wing to him.

A delegation led by Telugu Yuvatha leader Dorai Swamy Naidu and Surya Prakash submitted a memorandum to Naidu and informed him that the Yuvatha leaders are ready to work under the leadership of Lokesh.

They said that Lokesh’s entry will help the state Youth wing to play a constructive role in active politics in the coming days.

Lokesh’s entry will also encourage youth to join the party in future. The Yuvatha leaders also demanded Naidu accord permission to Lokesh to conduct a tour in the state to take stock of the political situation and study farmers’ problems and common man’s plight.
