A special court on Thursday adjourned the hearing on the bail petition of Kadapa MP and YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to September 18.

The court adjourned the petition as the CBI counsel sought time to file counter petition in this connection.

The CBI on Tuesday filed three chargesheets in the case as the deadline set by the Supreme Court ended.
The  Supreme Court, while rejecting Jagan’s bail plea in May, had said the petitioner can move the trial court for the bail after the completion of investigations.

Jagan is lodged in Chanchalguda Jail since his arrest by the CBI on May 27, 2012.
