Has the Congress high command conducted a secret surveys on ground realities in AP a week before they wanted to finally decide on Telangana?

A first look at survey samples show that the regional parties TRS, YSRCP and TDP are far ahead of Congress in all the three regions giving pinpricks to the Core committee.

It appears all these reports will be compiled and also tagged to the road maps provided by the Dy CM, CM and PCC chief. The Governor ESL Narasimhan also has provided a report on prospects through his sources.

Yes say the AICC sources adding that there were not just one but several surveys – one by state intelligence, another by the Central agencies one by Governor Narasimhan , one by Rahul team which conducted an opinion poll last week .

An analysis by a select team of congress friendly analysts in top TV channels and newspapers is also being done to brief the core committee meeting.
