Just like all other Govt programs which benefits poor, Aadhar link is made mandatory for Andhra Pradesh’s latest Bangaru Talli scheme. However Govt decided to exempt the rule from the current year and make it mandatory from March 31st,2014.

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy took this policy decision after meeting various officials and ministers on Friday. Earlier on the day Kiran directed officials to release the funds for Bangaru Talli scheme through Green Channel. He asked the finance department to take care of those operations. He said that bank accounts for all the eligible mothers under the Bangaru Talli scheme should be opened immediately.

Minister Sunita LakshmaReddy said already Rs 57.5crs were released and under this 1.30 lakhs physically handicapped people are elegible for pension. CM Kiran asked officials for the implementation of software to bring all the programs under one umbrella.
