Reason For Rajamouli’s ‘Makkhi’ Flop
The tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli made his foray into Bollywood through an indirect format by the release of his much hyped movie ‘Makkhi’. This is the Hindi version of his super hit movie ‘Eega’. However, though the reviews have come out good from the north critics, people are not coming to the theatres.
The film is more or less considered a flop as per Bollywood box office reports. So, analysis is being done on why it has happened like this. Well, firstly, it is a dubbing film is the first feeling which didn’t really appeal. Secondly, it is an old movie, not new. Already those who heard about ‘Eega’ the cine buffs have already watched the Telugu version.
Now they will not go to see the Hindi version. The film was treated like a wonder in south India but when ‘Eega’ released the Telugu version released in cities like Bangalore and Mumbai so quite a number have already watched the Telugu version. But on the bright side, ‘Makkhi’ has surely given a strong foundation for Rajamouli in Bollywood.
