Piaa Bajpai, who shot to fame with super hit film “Rangam”, is all set to play the female lead in a Telugu movie “Dhalam” directed by Jeevan Reddy. A protege of Ram Gopal Varma, Jeevan Reddy has roped the popular model turned actress for his thriller venture.

Piaa Bajpai will be seen in the role of a Tamil Brahmin girl in this film. The petite beauty says that she’s quite happy sporting traditional attires with bottu and chandhanam, away from her glamorous modeling. Piya Bajpai, along with Naveenchandra and Kishore are in lead roles. Jeevan Reddy, who earlier worked as writer and co-director for “Raksha” and “Katha Screenplay Darshakatvam Appala Raju”, is making his directorial debut with this film.

While Sudhakar Yekkanti is cranking the camera, James Vasanthan is scoring the music. Dhalam is produced by Sumanth Kumar Reddy under The Mammooth Media and Entertainment banner.
