Pawan Kalyan has rewritten the definition of blockbuster with his last release “Gabbar Singh” and is now rewriting his own rate-card. There is a buzz on internet that the actor who is on high is now demanding a whopping 15 crores as remuneration.
Rather saying demand, we can say that many producers are luring him with that price as working with him itself is a big-deal for them. A popular producer states that Powerstar is a pride for all and we have seen his stamina at Box Office through ‘Gabbar Singh’, if each ingredient is mixed well. ‘There is no wrong in paying him that much as he is the one in Tollywood who deserves that’, he adds.

Next and nearest competitor for Pawan is Superstar Mahesh who is on the line of 10 crores per flick. Trade pundits are saying that both these heroes are not taking everything in cash and are agreeing to take area-rights. In that case if the movie flops, the actors will get less money and if it is a hit, there is no stopping for cash-bundles.
