Buxom actress Namitha recently expressed interest to play ‘Silk Smitha’ in the southern remake of “The Dirty Picture”. Naimtha’s statement has come at a time when her peers are rejecting the offer to play the lead role.

The heavy duty bombshell said that she feels she’s apt for the role of “Silk Smitha” and it gives her great joy to step into the shoes of the yesteryear actress. “Featuring in the “The Dirty Picture” gives her immense pleasure since she’s a great fan of the Silk Smitha”, said Namitha.

Comparing herself with Vidya Balan’s “Dirty Picture”, Namitha said that Vidya Balan did justice to the Bollywood version and I too can do for the Southern version. Namitha further said that no producer has approached her for the role, and if offered, she’ll readily accept it and she’s ready to cut down her remuneration too.
