For a while now the producers of Aditya 999 were on the lookout for a leading lady to be paired opposite Balakrishna. Looks like they have finally found their girl and it’s none other than actress Taapsee Pannu. The curly haired actress has been signed up to play the lead opposite Balakrishna, for the first time in her career.

The film to be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is a sequel to 1990′s released super hit science fiction flick Aditya 369. Bala Krishna and Mohini played the leads in the movie. The filmmakers were initially keen on signing up Anushka but the actress is too busy with Tamil projects at the moment so the filmmakers decided to cast Taapsee instead.

The movie will have three leading ladies in the film and Tapsee is finalized for one of the roles while yesteryear actress Rajani will play other important role. Other cast and crew details of the film are yet to be finalized. Konda Krishnam Raju will produce the film and the production works of Aditya 999 will begin from August.
