Natashekara Krishna is celebrating his 70th birthday today. The superstar of Telugu films who acted in more than 350 films in a career spanning five decades is loved by one and all in the film industry and audience. Telugu people adore Krishna as a daring hero who takes on challenges and stands by his men in thick and thin. Govt of India honoured him with Padma Bhushan Award for his contributions to Indian Cinema in 2009. Krishna also dabbled in politics and had been a MP of Congress Party. Besides to acting, Krishna directed 17 feature films and produced many films under Padmalaya Film Studios.

Natashekara Krishna is credited with producing many technological firsts in Telugu film Industry like the first Eastman color film Eenadu (1982), first Cinemascope film (Alluri Seetharama Raju), first 70mm film (Simhasanam), first DTS film (Telugu Veera Levara) (1988) and introducing cowboy and James Bond styles in Telugu films.

Also on family front Krishna is a happy man with his superstar son Mahesh Babu emerging as the top star in Tollywood and is successfully carrying forward the legacy of Krishna.
