OSTRICH SYNDROME OF CM KIRAN KUMAR REDDY
When CWC had announced its decision to divide the state, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy confined to his ‘Camp Residence’ in Hyderabad. With an ostrich syndrome, he even did not venture to meet the officials.
Only after getting reports on the anger and agitation of Seemandhra people, he convened a delayed press conference to portray himself with inapt colours of rebellion.
Even yesterday (October 3), when Cabinet cleared Telangana note while paving the way to the formation of a separate State, he again restricted himself to camp office. Reliable sources said that the CM is in rehearsals with a prepared script, which is expected to be read out before media either today evening, or tomorrow.
Over 44 MLAs , 17 ministers, 10 MLCs, Union Minister Chiranjeevi and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayna called on the CM at his camp office. They vowed to defeat the resolution in the assembly. Kiran Reddy reportedly asserted with the Seemandhra leaders that the division of AP would only after 2014 election. He also reportedly told them that the resolution on Telangana will come to Assembly in six weeks.
