The celebration of Ganesh Nimajjanam that is the last of the nine day ritual of Ganesh communal worshipping irrespective of cast and creed, rich and poor and age group is being performed Statewide.  The celebrations at Hyderabad are still going with the famous Khairatabad Ganesh reached Telugutalli Flyover.

The immersion process may be done between 9.30 and 10.30 as expected by the authorities.  The procession of Khairatabad Ganesh idol started at 2.00 amThe Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma announced that the traffic restrictions in the city will continue till the conclusion of the nimajjanam near Tank Bund, Necklace Road and NTR Marg and roads leading to the immersion spots.

The original expected time of concluding the immersion celebration was 8.30 am which is now is expected to go up to 12.30.  But as the situation appears the actual time of concluding it may go further for some more time.  But the authorities are trying to hasten the process in the wake of the traffic obstructions.  It was a hard time for the police and administration authorities  whole night because of the number of idols and down pour added to it.
