As the representations at Delhi before Antony Committee is not indicating anything in favor of the Samaikyandhra and more over it is time and again stated that the Antony Committee is not reversing the decision of the CWC to bifurcate the State, the agitating groups announced that the activities in the indefinite strike will be intensified further.

AP NGO Association President Ashok Babu said that the strike will take a turn of intensified activity soon.   He said that the private buses also will be stopped on highways in addition to the RTC strike.  He said that hunger strikes and disruption of the traffic on the highways will be taken up.

Revenue personnel are not going to issue caste certificates.  Couselling for Engineering is to begin from 19th August.  The JAC is planning to stop that.

At present employees of Revenue department, Education department, Municipal Administration and RTC are already participating in the strike.

Ashok Babu said that a program for the coming 15 days are chalked out and will be implemented.  He said that a large public meeting will be organized at Hyderabad soon.

RTC employees decided to obstruct private buses the management of APSRTC wants to run from Alipiri to take pilgrims to Tirumala hills.
