If there’s one South Indian star who is the dream of every Indian actress, then he’s Mahesh Babu. Fondly called ‘prince’ by his fans, his 6 lakh followers stand testimony to his popularity.

The actor turns 38 today. Mahesh, who always maintains low profile will celebrate his birthday with family in London. Incidentally, he also celebrated the birthday of his daughter Sitara who recently turned one.

Mahesh whose initial movies were a dud at Box Office became a sensation after his performance in movies like Okkadu, Athadu, Pokiri and Dookudu which smashes all records at South Indian box office.

The movies also established Mahesh an actor par excellence. His style, dialogue delivery has made even Bollywood sit up and take notice. Although Mahesh has been flooded with offers to act in other language movies too, the actor has confined himself to Tollywood as he’s content with the popularity he enjoys here.

However, Mahesh endorses brands at national level a privilege only a few actors get. Fans can’t wait to watch him in his next movie Okkadine under the direction of Sukumar.

Mahesh is married to Miss India-actress Namrata Shirodkar. He has two kids—son Gautam Krishna and daughter Sitara.
