It is known news that Samantha was roped in to play one of the female leads in the movie Yevadu starring Ram Charan while Amy Jackson is playing the other heroine. Meanwhile, there have been speculations all over that Samantha might play the lead due to the clash of the dates after she has taken a break with health issues.

But producer of Yevadu, Dil Raju confirmed that Samantha is still part of Yevadu cast and she begins her part of shooting from the month of October. Sam is also shooting for Dil Raju’s other production film Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu that has Mahesh Babu in the lead.

Yevadu is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
