Former Samithi president Inja Sarveshwar Reddy was brutally murdered by unknown persons at Inurumetta under Nandyal mandal of Kurnool district, police said on Monday.
Sarveshwar Reddy was hit by a jeep first and later allegedly attacked with weapons. He was rushed to hospital immediately by the locals where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Police suspect that it was a planned murder and suspect the role of his rivals behind the plot. They have registered a case and launched a probe into the death.
