Cast: Nagarjuna, Richa, Sonu Sood
Director: Veerabhadram Chowdary
Rating: Two stars

Apart from his good looks and commendable acting prowess, the one good thing about Nagarjuna, unlike most other T-town actors, is that he tries his best not to get stereotyped. After doing films like ‘Shirdi Sai’, ‘Dhamarukam’ and ‘Greeku Veerudu’, he now steps into the shoes of a mafia don. Well, Nag does a neat job in picking up different roles in a row. But what he can’t escape is getting stereotypes in his films. His latest offing ‘Bhai’ is a good case study of how a good actor like Nagarjuna can be wasted in an age-old story with equally old-styled screenplay.

Bhai (Nag) works for mafia baron David (Ashish Vidyarthi) in Hong Kong. On a mission to kill an undercover cop, Bhai comes down to Hyderabad. There, he unexpectedly meets (of course, with a different identity) his family which had abandoned him during his childhood for the ‘wrong reasons’. How Bhai shields his family from his counterparts forms most of the film’s plot.

The movie banks on three things- Nagarjuna, comedy and family sentiment. The first part appears to be a drag, with back-to-back songs interrupting the narration. The heavy dosage of sentiment in the latter half puts you off and as the movie progresses, it turns predictable too. Richa often utters a dialogue in the film that says she needs to be updated and after watching her performance, one totally agree with the dialogue. Her puzzling expressions add up to her poorly-etched role. Sonu Sood is good as usual.

What save the film are Nag’s trademark performance, witty dialogues, beautiful cinematography and picturesque locales. The comedy track of Brahmanandam is good and reasonable. Contrary to his previous films, Brahmi is not at the receiving end, at least, until his role comes to an end.

On the whole, the film is a one-time watch for families who have not been to the cinemas much of late. For regular movie-goers though, ‘Bhai’ is just another passable film.

trailer and box-office collection report

The movie was released in 575 screens in Andhra Pradesh alone. The break-up in various cities in Andhra Pradesh is 195 screens in Nizam, 110 screens in Ceeded, 60 screens in Krishna, 55 screens in Vizag, 45 in Guntur, 45 in East, 35 screens in West and 30 screens in Nellore.

In Karnataka, the movie was released in 75 screens and 45 in Tamil Nadu.

The story of the movie revolves around Vijay who is a key aid of a an international don by name David, played by Ashish Vidyarthi. The don suffers a setback when a cop begins to kill important members of his gang.

The don assigns the job of tracing the cop to Vijay. Bhai finds out certain surprising facts about the undercover cop.

The next story has a lot of twists and turns. Nagarjuna plays three roles in the movie. A don’s right hand man, a tapori and a person who is in search of his family.

The movie is expected to collect at least Rs. 5-7 crores on its 1st day at the box office and around Rs. 15-18 crores in its 1st week of release.

The complete details of the box-office collections will be updated here. Stay tuned.

He is here. Many days of teasing us with ‘He is coming’ later, Ramayya Vasthavayya has arrived. Braving the odds of political agitations, imminent cyclone and long drawn power cuts, Jr NTR came out with a youthful entertainer with the help of director Harish Shankar. Producer Dil Raju’s decision to go ahead with the release has paid off with laughter and cheer at the theaters. Earning NTR a lot of new female fans, Ramayya Vasthavayya has portrayed him in a never before seen avatar. Starring Samantha in the lead role and Shruti Hassan as a special appearance, Ramayya Vastavayya

Story:-

NTR’s entry is as good as they said it would be. Depicting a long lost character from the past, he carries a ‘gadha’ as his shoots his witty dialogues. He soon gets into stylish fights with goons that rub him the wrong way. In a while, enters Samantha, like a floating angel into NTR’s life. He woos her with all he’s got, which includes his toned good looks. Much effort later, she falls for him too.

But, our hero has a past. He was in love with Shruti Hassan, who loved him too. Twists and turns lead to NTR using his fighting skills to the maximum. Ravi Shankar is the villain of all villains for this hero. At the end, the main protagonist has to defeat his enemies.

Analysis :

Jr NTR has carried Ramayya Vasthavayya on his shoulders with style. The film is filled with funny dialogues and amazing comedy scenes. Youthful is one word that describes the first half best. Romance, beautiful locales, great music, gripping background score, all of these work very well to set the pace of NTR’s performance.

Romantic scenes are a major plus for this movie with Samantha sulking and smiling with equal cuteness. The breezy first half soon makes way for the violent second half, which is filled with angry fighting and needless bloodshed. Emotions run maddeningly high as the film draws to a close. The second half offers plenty of sentiment and revenge for the masses.

Though there is not much of a story, the presentation is what ultimately matters. He makes you laugh and soon makes you cringe too. Harish Shankar kept the image of NTR very much in mind when he came up with this film. The actor gets a well deserved comparison to the late Senior NTR and this is grabs everyone with it’s magic.

Performance :

NTR does not want to be called ‘buddodu’. He continues with these strong punches, both from his mouth and with his hands. A true blockbuster has been eluding this talented actor and Ramayya Vasthavayya can fill that gap. The film truly works because of his stylish romance and action alike. He makes most of the jokes and throws most of the punches.

Samantha is pretty as ever, lending her charm to the romantic angle. With the help of Thaman’s songs, she and NTR has managed to create a warm feeling in the viewer’s hearts. Shruti Hassan too looks wonderful, particularly in the deep and meaningful songs. Combined with good performances, the styling of the film stands out for making the actors weave a spell.

The bad guys have done their part well. If you’re a fan of action scenes, there’s a lot of it in Ramayya Vasthavayya. Overall, the film is partly a breezy entertainer that the families can safely watch and partly a blood shedding action extravaganza that should be allowed in only while your judgment is alert.

Final Word: Ramayya Vastavayya Movie Review is created to suit all types of audiences, be the whistling masses or the thinking audience. A paisa vasool entertainer that can make you forget the outside world for a few hours.

Film: “Zanjeer”

Cast: Ram Charan Teja, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Mahie Gill and Atul Kulkarni

Director: Apoorva Lakhia

Rating: ****

Let’s not get carried away. Every time a remake comes along, we get gooey-eyed and nostalgic about the original. The “Zanjeer” remake gets it right. Dead right.

Unlike Ram Gopal Varma’s remake of “Sholay”, which was purely misguided, and Karan Malhotra’s “Agneepath”, which was unnecessarily brutal, “Zanjeer” is just what a remake should be. It’s respectful to the original material which, let me hasten to add, was no masterpiece, and suspiciously similar to a 1967 film called “Death Rides A Horse”.

In fact, a similar film “Yaadon Ki Baraat”, written by Salim-Javed and released during the same year 1973 as “Zanjeer”, was far superior.

Providentially, Lakhia’s “Zanjeer” is neither slavishly reverent to the original material nor does it take off into weird wild and wacky tangents — like the Rohit Shetty’s recent remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s “Golmaal”.

Rather, the new “Zanjeer” opens up the original plot, weeds out the humbug and preserves the core of the revenge saga of an angry cop whose ire grows progressively higher as the plot moves through a series of cleverly conceived conflicts that accentuate his alienation from his khaki-coloured line of duty.

No one can do to the sullen cop’s role what Mr. Bachchan did. But yes, even in his new avatar, Inspector Vijay Khanna seethes, simmers and boils over with an indignant rage. Everything about the festering rotten ‘system’ makes him annoyed and churlish.

Since “Zanjeer”, and its more serious-toned country-cousin “Ardh Satya”, numerous cops have vented their cinematic spleen in films as far-ranging in quality as “Singham” and “Policegiri”.

What makes Vijay Khanna in the new “Zanjeer” special is the plot-mechanics which put him in time-worn situations, but subject him to dramatic dynamics that give the prototypical Angry Cop a renewed riveting life of violent score-settling.

That this time the Angry Cop, who was played with such compelling candidness by Amitabh Bachchan in the original “Zanjeer”, is played by Ram Charan Teja is just a huge stroke of luck for the remake. Ram Charan brings in an entirely unique brand of silent satyagraha to his character. When we first see him on screen, he wallops a goonda-politician on a busy road of Hyderabad as a hoarding of Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi’s film looks down on the chaotic scene.

A version of “Raghupati raghav…” plays in the background as Ram Charan lets us know without wasting time, that he means business.

The pace from that hard-hitting moment is relentless. The momentum never slackens even when Vijay Khanna gets down to expressing tender thoughts for the fast-talking befuddled and disoriented NRI girl Mala. Playing Mala, Priyanka Chopra seems to have a whole lot of infectious fun. She spells joie de vivre and looks gorgeous. Priyanka is the comic relief in this fast-paced actioner where fists and the background point out an ominous warning.

Lakhia paces the proceedings as a rush-hour traffic of bustling events. No one has the luxury to stop and think as the narration gathers up a storm of pulpy conflicts building up to an exceptionally staged climax filmed amidst the volatile proceedings of a crowded Moharram event.

From the Ganpati Viasarjan to the Moharram, Lakhia’s interpretation of “Zanjeer” traverses a mammoth canvas of rapid-fire images. Gururaj Jois’s camera moves dexterously, but never to divert our attention from the central conflict. And Chintan Gandhi’s dialogues use one-liners judiciously, never over-doing the smart-alec retorts.

The film’s action, by Javed-Ejaz, feels and looks right. The attention paid to getting the action sequences right is highly commendable. There is an elaborately staged multiple-explosion sequence in a huge Dharavi-like slum which belongs to a Vin Diesel-starrer.

Sanjay Dutt steps splendidly into Pran’s part. His sequences, though limited by the actor’s physical unavailability, show the sensitive side to his aggressive personality. The bonding between Ram Charan and Dutt comes across as effectively as the one between Ram Charan and Priyanka and Prakash Raj and Mahie Gill.

And the momentum never slackens.

Fast-paced, and forever furious, “Zanjeer” also finds space to be excruciatingly funny. In fact, the whole villain-vamp equation between Teja (Prakash Raj) and Mona Darling (Mahie Gill) is here subverted to a kind of comic coitus interruptus where Prakash Raj repeatedly keeps talking about sex without getting down to it while ‘Mona’ Mahie Gill purrs and moans and pouts — not out of passion but for just the opposite reasons.

The most tongue-in-cheek homage I’ve seen in a remake occurs in this film when we see the new Teja-Mona pair watching actor Ajit and Bindu in the original “Zanjeer” on a DVD. The sequence is irreverent without appearing to belittle the original. It reminds us of the renewed cycle of art and individual talent.

Throughout the film, we sense the director’s immense affection for the original “Zanjeer”, a reverence that never clouds his judgement.

This is one remake that stands tall and lithe. It is manned by a manful supply of action and yet manages to keep the machismo understated. Breakneck-paced, adrenaline-pumping, pulse-pounding — Lakhia’s deconstructed version of the Prakash Mehra film is a full-on pacy paisa-vasool entertainer with brio and balls.

Ram Charan Teja makes an impressive Bollywood debut. We can safely say he is the man among the boys.

Go for it!

Romance (2013) Telugu Movie
Movie Star :: Prince, Dimple, Manasa
Music Director:: Sai Karthik
Directed By:: Darling Swamy
Produced By:: G Srinivas Rao

TA Rating: 2/5

Story :

1st half :

Movie start with a opening dialogue ”Romance cheyadaniki ammayi, Pranam theyadaniki gun unte prapancham gelicheyochu” , Hero Prince is a short film maker , villain gets impressed and calls Prince to give him a director chance , Prince Narrates his Love Story , Prince is a kind of person who flirts girls but he has few policies for a Perfect Girl (Perfect Girl Theory) , he impresses Manasa Love track between manasa and prince starts and few romantics scenes looks childish , but she failed to meet Perfect girl qualities so he breaks up with Manasa , now dimple enters the screen she meets all the qualities of a perfect girl but she refuses Prince this is the interval bang .

2nd half :

Post Interval starts with Dimple’s Flashback , she dont like Prince but she tries to change him about his mentality towards girls , the movie is littled dragged with a new twist that Prince’s 1st love is villain’s sister , To convince Dimple Prince enters girls hostel , scences @girls hostel are not convincing the movie is little bored at this point he applies Perfect Girl theory but girls in the hostel test prince beyond his expectations. Maruthi’s style can been seen in this film in lots of aspects , girls in the hostel train Dimple how to seduce boys , ’A’ – certificate is required for this movie finally comes to a happy ending he directs the movie with his story in real life.

Final Say:

Maruthi’s team usually banks on Entertaining audience to achieve success but they lost their track in their movie. Comedy scenes in the first half did not work out so much and the second half is a total mishap. Comedy is absent and added to it, most scenes are poorly conceived. Hostel scenes in the second half tests your patience. Finally, Romance is Maruthi’s first failure. You can give it a miss!

Positives :

Comedy in few scenes

3 songs and making

Story

Main lead performances

Negatives :

Title : Sahasam

music : SHR

Released on : July 12,2013

Starring : GopiChand,Tapsee,Ali

Direction : Chandra Sekhar yelati

Producer : BVSN Prasad & reliance

Rating :3.25/5

What is Sahasam All About ?

Gautam (Gopichand) is an ATM security guard who is fed with his life and bad financial condition. One fine day, he comes to know that his grand father Varma (Suman) possesses huge hidden treasure in Pakistan before the partition. Gautam decided go after it and to acquire visa, he takes help of Srinidhi (Tapsee) who advocates Hinduism. In this treasure hunt, he is troubled by terrorists who are also eying the same treasure. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

How did they perform?

Gopichand looked fit in the movie and came up with a good performance as always. He is particularly good in action sequences. Tapsee for the first time appeared in a girl next door character. The usual loudness we see in her characters is not in this movie and she performed well. Suman is good in the little character which comes in the flash back. Ali’s comedy track as Qayamat Raju is okay but could have been written well. Shakthi Kapoor is superb in the role of a dreaded terrorist. Narayana Murthy is ok as Gopichand’s father. Rest of the characters are all okay.

Technical Performances:

As always, Yeleti has shown the difference. The story theme is novel and the screenplay is good. There is a bit of exaggeration like a security guard going to Pakistan and fighting with a terrorist but can be counted as cinematic liberty. He should have added some more commercial elements to make the film more salable. Sri’s rerecording is excellent and reflected the right mood. Shamdat’s cinematography is superb and is many places ahead of usual Tollywood standards. Editing is good and the action sequences are well conceived.

Analysis:

‘Sahasam’ movie starts with slow pace and picks momentum towards the climax. Though the story is interesting, screenplay is boring with no entertaining elements. The last forty minutes of the movie is gripping and engages the audience.

‘Sahasam’ may not appeal to all the sections of the audience. Audience who like regular commercial entertainers may not like this movie. Audience who like adventurous, action oriented films will definitely like the movie.

Final Say:

Except for some cinematic liberties and absence of regular commercial elements, Sahasam is a good watch for people who love movies with Treasure Hunt themes. We will have to see how it works at the box office.

Greekuveerudu Movie Review

Rating: 2.25/5.0

Banner: Kamakshi Movies

Producer: D.Shiva Prasad Reddy

Director: Dasarath

Music: S S Thaman

Casting: Nagarjuna, Nayantara, Meera Chopra, K Vishwanath, Brahmanandam, M S Narayana, Kota Srinivas Rao, Sharath Babu, Ashish Vidyarthi. Ali, Venu Madav, Raghu Babu, Vennela Kishore, Nagi Needu, Tagubothu Ramesh, Kovai Sarala and others

Story

Chandu (Nagarjuna) runs an event management company in USA. He values money and doesn’t believe in love or human relations. Sandhya ( Nayantara), a doctor committed to service. She works with the charitable organization ‘Make a Wish’. She believes in sentiments, relations and love.

Chandu travels to India to meet his grandparents and relatives for the first time to address and an unprecedented event occurred in USA. On his way to India, Chandu meets Sandhya who has conflicting views about life, get acquainted to each other. After meeting Sandhya and relatives in India, Chandu realises the value of human relations and importance of love.

What made Chandu to change his views on relations and love forms the crux of the story.

Performances:

Nagarjuna’s all efforts for his new styling and physique is clearly visible on screen. He looked concinving as a playboy even at the age of 53. In the emotional scenes, he delivers a composed performance. Surprisingly, he puts lot of efforts in dances after a long time. Nayantara looked very aged some how. Her costumes and makeup even ma her look older. Meera Chopra made a comeback to Telugu after a long time and gets a little role. She is okay.

Brahmanandham (especially in the second half) is good as always and shouldered the responsibility of second half. Thagubothu Ramesh managed some good laughs. K.Vishwanth, Ashish Vidyardhi and Kota Srinivasa Rao is at their usual self. Rest of them are okay.

Technical

Dasarath once again chose a story which tells the human relations and love. The film’s story resembles director Dasarath’s earlier film ‘Mr. Perfect’, in which the hero and heroine have divergent views. Ultimately they unite when the hero changes his views. Though the subject is good, director failed to handle the script to perfection. The scenes are half baked or end abruptly. He failed to bring the intensity in emotional scenes. The screenplay of the movie is big draw back and boring at times. The movie runs on slow pace and ends on sluggish note.

S S Thman tried to be different with this movie. He showed variation in background score and music when compared to his other movies. Anil Bhandari cinematography is rich. Marthand K Venkatesh could have done better job on editing. Dialogues by Dasarath are good. There is nothing to say about Choreography or Action.

Final talk

It is a below average movie.

Story:-

Raghu Ram (Naga Babu) is an investigative journalist killed by mafia don Nana Bhai (Aditya Pancholi) in front of his son Raja Ram (Venkatesh). Raja Ram escapes the scene and becomes Shadow to take revenge for his father’s death. How Shadow succeeded in his mission forms the crux of the story.

Performance

Venkatesh who tried to be different in looks failed to create any impact. The role is outdated and lacks energy.

Tapsee is just for glamour and there is nothing much to showcase her acting talent. Acting of Srikanth who played the police officer role is stereo type. Madhurima is limited to couple of scenes.

Nagababu did justice to his five minutes role. Geetha is adequate in mother role.

All the villains Aditya Pancholi , Rahul Dev, Supreeth, Sayaji Shindey and Negineedu etc are routine. Rajesh, Srinivas Reddy, Kishore, Subba Raju, Uttej and many others fill the screen with no real purpose. No one has got a role with substance including protagonist and antagonist. M S Narayana is real relief in the film.

Technical

Director Meher Ramesh chose an outdated script to make a stylish action entertainer. However, everything goes haywire with his immature screenplay. Director didn’t conceive a single scene with a purpose.

Cinematography is the only saving aspect in the movie. Choreography and action are average and not enough if you are projecting this movie as out and out action entertainer. Music by S S Thaman is cacophonous and rerecording is pretty ordinary.

Production values are good and spent quite a lot of money in shooting most of the film in foreign locales.

Plus Points

Nothing

Minus Points

Every thing

Analysis

Meher Ramesh should be appreciated for convincing Venkatesh with this rotten script. Director simply wasted real after real without much substance wise. Director ran out of ideas even borrowed antakshari scene from Gabbar Singh, Chanti character from Chanti to progress the movie. Venkatesh looked odd in as Chanti who suffers memory loss because of the accident. Unfortunately, all his attempts failed to yield any good results for the film. The movie runs on predictable note from opening scene to climax. Director didn’t etch any of the character in the movie well. There are one too many characters with no real purpose to the movie progress.

Finally, Shadow will become one of the worst flops in Venkatesh career. After this movie Mehar Ramesh needs to re access his directional skills. No one could save this ‘Shadow’ from disaster even the likes of Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR and Ram Charan. Strictly avoid ‘Shadow’ even if you need to sit idle and bite your nails!

Final Talk

Madhu Babu novel hero Shadow is way better than Mehar Ramesh Shadow

Rating : 1/5
Cast : Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Ali, Dhanraj and others..
Language : Telugu
Director : Vennela Kishore
Producer: Ramesh Varma
Music: Anup Rubens
Editor: Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao
Cinematography: Raja
Banner: Kiran Arts Studio
Story:

J Falguda alias Jaffa (Brahmanandam) is a software guy immersed in all sorts of professional troubles due to his sadistic boss, Melkote. Then enters Jaffa’s assistant Sujith (Dhanraj). Due to Sujith, Jaffa lands in a big trouble and finds himself locked in a prison on the charge of a murder. In prison, he wins many hearts there including the jailer , Nikki (Vennela Kishore). Jaffa often tries to escape from there and what happens next forms the rest.

Performance:

Despite having no star, the movie managed to open very well on day one, that itself is an indication of Brahmi’s box office potential. He tried his best to carry the movie on his shoulders. But appears like sliding into over action mode.

Vennela Kishore is good as jailer. Melkote was okay. Ali is clueless as investigating officer due to poor characterization. There are many comedians in the movie like Dhan Raj, Venu, Venu Madhav, Raghu Babu, Fish Venkat who are all underused by the director.

Technical Performance:

Vennela Kishore even though putting up good show as an actor, failed to deliver good output. Quite understandable! Because he himself failed utterly as a writer and director. With two failures in bag on a trot, by now Kishore should have known that direction is a different ball game altogether. The direction in the movie is obsolete and the screenplay is totally missing.

Anup Rubens’ back ground score is average. Cinematography by Raja looked below average and usage of 5D cannon had backfired completely here. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing is very substandard. Production values are very poor with most of the film shot in Brahmanandam’s house.

Final Say:

Initial scenes itself gives you a clear picture about what to expect in the next 2 hours. Main plot of the film is very weak and poorly written. None of the so called twists worked out. Even with a crowd puller like Brahmi, the movie is expected to fall flat at the box office!

Rating : 3/5

Release Date: 08 Feb 2013,
Cast: Prabhas,Anushka Shetty
Genre: Action – Romance
Language: Telugu
Certification: A
Director: Koratala Siva
Producer: Pramod Uppalapati, Vamsi Krishna Reddy

Story:
Jai (Prabhas) is a fun loving youngster who works as an architect in Italy. He lives there happily and then he falls flat for Manasa (Richa Gangopadhyay) who studies MS there. To convince her parents for marriage, Jai lands in India. After much struggle, he manages to impress them and then his past related to Vennela (Anushka) who is his Mardalu is revealed. Both the families are rivals in faction. What happens next forms the actual story.

Artists Performances:
Prabhas looks cool in foreign land. His dialogue delivery is contrived as a posh guy. Back in India, he looks convincingly good. He displayed right emotions in the action sequences and his dialogue delivery in emotional scenes have also improved. Koratala Siva had shown him exactly in the way fans wanted to see him. He had put good efforts in dances too. Anushka looked cute on screen and the chemistry between Anushka and Prabhas worked out very well. Richa Gangopadhyay looked completely out of shape. She did not suit Prabhas in any ways. She had a little role in the movie and her performance is just okay.

Brahmanandham as Veera Pratap is not fully utilized. Sampath had got a crucial role and his performance is good as Protagonist. Satyaraj, Nagineedu, Raghu Babu, Kasi Viswanath are good in the roles they are offered. Rest of them are okay.

Technical-Performances:
Mirchi is the debut directorial venture of Koratala Siva. He seem to have a script which is an amalgamation of several movies in Telugu like Athidhi, Bhadra and Krishna. He is successful as writer as always and had written some very good dialogues for Prabhas But the director in him failed to make a mark. The execution part of the movie is bad. He had unnecessarily embedded too much of action part in the movie which foiled the flow of the part. If rightly dealt, the movie would have been a good family entertainer.

Devi Sri Prasad’s songs are chart busters. They are shot well too. The re-recording is taken good care of. Madhie’s cinematography is just okay and the grading is excellent. Kotagiri’s Editing could have been a lot better.

Final Say:
The first half of the movie started promisingly but progresses with out any excitement The interval bang is predictive again. The entertainment part is good but not great. The second half of the movie goes wayward with too many of unnecessary action sequences disrupting the flow of the movie. The pace of the movie slowed down gradually as the movie approaches climax. The climax fight is dragged too.

Finally, Mirchi is a good script let down by bad execution. Prabhas’ ubercool looks, heroism elevation scenes is the saving grace of movie and makes it a one time watch!

Cast :- Ram, Kriti Kharbanda,Prakash raj,Ali
Banner :- SVCC (Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra)
Producer :- B. V. S. N. Prasad
Stroy Direction :- Bhaskar
Music :- G. V. Prakash Kumar,Mani Sharma (BGM and 1 song)
Cinematography :-A. Venkatesh

Rating: 2/5

Synopsis:

Ongole Gitta is the story of White (Ram) who does business in Guntur Mirchi Yard. Adhikeshavulu (Prakash Raj) is the Chairman of that market yard. When things goes on like this, White comes to know about his bitter past in which Adhikeshavulu topples Ram’s father (Prabhu) from the post of Market Yard chairman. And the rest of the story is all about what Ram does to avenge his past and the confrontation between him and Adhikeshavulu.

How they performed?:

Ram is good in the role of White alias Dorababu. His character is a mix of his normal energy and shades of Bhaskar’s hero. There is a lot of maturity in his acting. As usual his dances are rocking and his performance in action sequences is admirable. Kriti Kharbhanda is super gorgeous and looked awesome on screen. Her acting skills are good. Unlike earlier Bhaskar movies, this movie do not have much of importance in the movie.

Prakash Raj is super cool in the character with grey shades. He carried out the role with grace but the nude scenes of him are totally unwanted and are irritating. Raghu Babu and TV9 Kishore Das’ comedy is good. Ali comedy is raw and massy. Jaya Prakash Reddy is good in a brief role as Prakash Raj’s father.

Technical Departments:

Love stories touching subtle human emotions are forte of Bhaskar since his debut. But he tread to a different path with this movie. The story line is a routine revenge story which was touched in numerous movies in the past. However, Bhaskar was not fully successful in execution of the story. There is too much of Tamil flavour every where from comedy to fights. There are few good moments in the movie which are also overshadowed by this. Prakash Raj’s nude scenes, Ali’s Langa Voni scenes were height in testing the patience of the audience.

Cinematography by A.Venkatesh is good. Bhaskar himself is a cinematographer earlier and he took care of this department with his knowledge. Editing by Marthand K.Venkatesh could have been a lot better. GV Prakash’s music is just average and songs are picturized well. Mani Sharma’s back ground score is good.

Final Say:

The first half of the movie is okay with some comedy here and there. The actual story begins only towards the Interval bang which does nothing exciting to the already slowed down pace of the movie. The second half starts opening in to actual story but at the same time the Tamil flavour of the movie begins to dominate too much which does not go well with Telugu audience. Audience are seen going out of theaters in the Morning show of the first day. Looks like Ram had registered second failure in a trot at the box office.
