CM resumes duty, but no one to talk in office
CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who has been boycotting his office since last 13 days has resumes his duties after he was warned by party state political affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh. Kiran was conveyed of Sonia Gandhi’s order to resume duty immediately and to preside over the bifurcation process without raising an eyebrow. She also orders her party leaders, MLAs and Ministers not to speak against party decision on bifurcation before media or public meetings. She suggested them to give representation to Antony Committee to that sort out the issues.
Although, CM has resumed his duties hardly there is anyone to speak with in the office. All the T-Ministers and MLAs have distanced from him, after he categorically opposed Telangana state formation. Although, T-NGOs have asserted their support to government, they are also likely to boycott CM Kiran Kumar Reddy because of his stand.
The AP NGOs working in the Secretariat, who align with him, are not in a position to implement any of his orders or decisions as they are observing ‘pen-down’ during strike period. Many of the Seemandhra Ministers and MLAs have already quit their posts and busy with agitations and dharnas at New Delhi.
So, Kiran Kumar Reddy might be facing a very odd situation at his office now. Whether, he will continue in his office abiding the party decision or will step down taking a firm stand against bifurcation is to be seen in the next few days.
