The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) will give a notice of no confidence against the Congress government in the budget session of the Assembly beginning Wednesday for its failures to solve the burning issues faced by people and not conceding the demand for statehood to Telangana.
The decision to serve the notice was announced by TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao after a meeting of the legislature party on Monday evening. He claimed the support of the three-member BJP and independent MLA of Nagarkurnool, Nagam Janardhan Reddy, at the press conference after the meeting. The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) which has seven MLAs, CPI (four) and CPI (M) and Lok Satta (one each) have sought time to make up their mind, he said.
